NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans extended their unbeaten streak to seven games with a commanding 39-0 victory over the Green Bay Packers at home on Sunday. Under head coach Jose Wilson, the Titans dominated from start to finish, shutting out the Packers and improving to 7-0 on the season.

Quarterback Phillip Richardson led the Titans’ offense, completing 29 of 41 passes for 429 yards and four touchdowns against one interception. Richardson connected early with wide receiver Robert Parker for a 64-yard touchdown on the game’s opening drive, putting the Titans ahead 7-0 just 36 seconds into the contest.

The Titans defense limited Green Bay’s offense to just 71 passing yards and 12 rushing yards on the day. The Packers managed 11 completions on 25 attempts through the air, with their quarterback Darrell Dicarlo also throwing one interception. Tennessee sacked Dicarlo five times and forced no turnovers beyond that interception.

Tennessee’s special teams contributed significantly as John Kerr converted all four field goals attempted, adding 12 points over the course of the game. Kerr’s field goals came from 42, 23, and 18 yards, plus an extra point after each touchdown.

In the running game, William Bishop contributed 98 yards on the ground and added 22 receiving yards. Tight end William Schneider was a standout, finishing with 198 receiving yards and three rushing touchdowns, including a 25-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter and a 60-yard touchdown catch later in the same period.

Robert Parker was also effective with 105 receiving yards and one rushing touchdown. The Titans offense consistently moved the ball, evidenced by the 429 passing yards and 188 rushing yards combined. Despite a small penalty total of just three infractions for 23 yards, the Titans did not attempt or convert any third downs during the game.

The Packers’ offensive struggles were evident throughout. They failed to score and were unable to convert on any third downs. Their rushing attack was limited to 14 carries for 12 yards, and they failed to threaten the red zone at any point.

Injuries were reported but did not significantly affect the Titans, with several players including Jorge Cavanaugh, Herman Perryman, and David Foy expected to return after minor issues.

This shutout win solidifies the Titans’ position atop their division with a 2-0 record there while keeping them perfect overall. Conversely, the Packers fall to 1-6 and remain rooted at the bottom of the division standings with no victories in four division games.

The Titans will look to maintain their momentum as they continue their regular season campaign. Their versatile offensive attack and tight defense show strength heading into the later weeks.
