CONTINENTAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE - OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION
April 4, 2025
Subject: Team Identity Changes and Season Feedback InitiativeTeam Owners,
As we continue to build and grow the foundation of the Continental Football League in it's inaugural season, I want to start by saying thank you for being a part of this league. There are a couple updates and opportunities I'd like to share with you:
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
1. Team Identity Submissions Now OpenI've mentioned this in previous posts to you all regarding the ability to diversify from the standard "NFL" style teams that we have, and are generally used throughout MFN. This isn't a requirement nor something you HAVE to do if you aren't willing, but I want to give you the ability to really take control of your team and let your creativity shine. With this said,
effective immediately, owners are now permitted to submit requests to change their
team name, city, and/or logo. This is a great opportunity to refine your team to your desires or better align the team with your creative vision.
A) If you'd like a new logo, you may submit your design, or I am happy to create a few for you and present them to you before finalizing.
B) Team names must comply with
MFN site policy: they must
not be offensive, derogatory, sexual in nature, or discriminatory in any way.
C) All team name and logo submissions should be sent directly to me for approval.
Changes will take effect in the offseason before the next season begins.

2. Season Feedback & Rule Change ProposalsWithin the coming weeks, I will be seeking your input on how the inaugural season has gone so far. In addition, a poll will be conducted to gather feedback on
potential rule changes for next season. The polls may include how you feel about the number of FA weeks (early and late), injury rate, owner inactivity, trades, etc.
Each season, we’ll hold a league-wide poll to assess the state of the league and give owners a voice in shaping the rules moving forward. I will never run this league as a monarchy, but rather democracy.
You all have a say in the league you play in, but as always, if anything urgent or important comes up at any time - never be afraid to reach out to me. Your feedback is essential in making the CFL the best it can be—for both competition and community.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or ideas. I look forward to seeing the continued growth and evolution of this league, and I appreciate your role in making it something special and hopefully a fun place to play and run a team.
Sincerely,
Commissioner KCPunk
Continental Football League
